Nice to meet you, I'm Roni
I live in Tel Aviv and have two little daughters, Dani and Milli. All my life I was a visual artist: I studied, taught, exhibited in galleries and museums and spent most of my days in the studio. When I became a mom, something about the institutional art world felt too far from life itself. I wanted to go back to the place that brought me to art in the first place: the love of color, of aesthetics, and of things that leave room for imagination.
I was looking for things to hang on the walls of our home. Things that both I and they (well, and my partner too) would love.
That's how WellWellWall was born: a studio for joyful collages that you can touch.
WellWellWall
Joyful art at eye level, whatever your height. Art you live with and make, without hierarchies and without the feeling that you need to know something to belong.
In the world of WellWellWall there is no separation between art for kids and art for grown-ups, between art you buy and art you make, or between handwork and what we've gotten used to calling “works of art”. Art is a natural part of everyday life and it's in every corner: in the kids' room, by the craft table and the dining table, in the kitchen, the living room, the hallway and even the bathroom. Because home is a space of expression for everyone who lives in it. The colors, the imagination and the personal taste of every one of us have a place.
Kids deserve to be surrounded by art made for them with respect, or art they made themselves with materials that are right for them.
And first and foremost, WellWellWall was created for you, Mom. So that you're free to choose, create and enjoy art without prior knowledge and without anyone's approval. So that you enjoy the art you buy for your kids and the creating time, just like them and maybe even more.
WellWellWall is a small Tel Aviv studio by artist and mom Roni Pecker, making handmade collages, DIY collage kits and private collage workshops. Every collage is an original, one-of-a-kind work, framed in aluminum and ready to hang. Shipping within Israel in up to 7 business days, free over ₪350. Workshops take place at your home, in Tel Aviv and central Israel.
